By confirming a booking with Patches the Twister Mister / Blackie Waterz, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions.
Deposit & Booking Confirmation: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your date and time are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received. The deposit is deducted from the total booking fee.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations: If a booking is cancelled by the client, the deposit remains non-refundable. Depending on the notice provided and circumstances of the cancellation, additional cancellation fees may apply.
Rescheduling: Requests to change the date, time or location of a booking must be made in writing and are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply where a change affects travel, timing or other booking arrangements.
Performance Duration: Performances and services will run for the duration agreed upon at the time of booking. Any request to extend the booking is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Balloon Twisting – Performance Area: For outdoor balloon twisting, a suitable shaded or covered area must be provided. Balloons and equipment can be affected by direct sunlight, heat and weather conditions, so adequate protection from the elements is required. Where appropriate shade or shelter is not available, the performance may need to be relocated, modified or discontinued.
Giant Bubbles – Performance Area: Giant bubble entertainment is designed primarily for outdoor performance and requires a suitable open area away from roads, vehicles and other hazards. Grass areas or unsealed concrete/paved areas are ideal, with enough open space for the safe use of large bubble wands and equipment. Bubble solution will make the ground wet and may make some surfaces temporarily slippery, so areas with polished, sealed or particularly slippery surfaces should be avoided.
Weather & Extreme Conditions: Outdoor performances are subject to suitable weather conditions. Extreme heat, heavy rain, strong winds, thunderstorms or other unsafe conditions may prevent or affect a performance. The performer reserves the right to modify, pause, relocate or discontinue a performance where conditions present a safety risk or make the service impractical to perform. Safety: The client is responsible for providing a reasonably safe performance environment for the entertainer, guests and equipment. Children remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout the booking.
Travel: Travel fees may apply to bookings outside the standard service area. Any applicable travel charges will be discussed prior to confirmation of the booking.
Parking & Access: Reasonable access to the performance area must be available for the unloading and loading of equipment. Where free parking is unavailable, parking costs are the responsibility of the client and may be added to the booking fee.
Delays: The client is responsible for ensuring the performance area is accessible and ready at the agreed start time. Delays caused by the event, venue or client do not automatically extend the scheduled finishing time.
Damage to Equipment: The client may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement where equipment is deliberately damaged or damaged through unreasonable interference by guests.
Liability: Every reasonable effort is made to provide services safely and professionally. The entertainer is not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from circumstances outside their reasonable control or from failure to follow reasonable safety instructions.
Force Majeure: Neither party will be held responsible for failure to perform due to circumstances genuinely beyond their reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, serious illness, government restrictions or other unforeseen events. Where possible, reasonable efforts will be made to find an alternative arrangement.
Photography & Promotional Use: Photographs or video may occasionally be taken during performances for promotional purposes. Where identifiable children are involved, appropriate permission will be sought before images are intentionally captured or used for promotional purposes. Clients are welcome to advise prior to the event if photography or filming is not permitted.
Acceptance of Terms: Payment of the booking deposit constitutes acceptance of these Booking Terms and Conditions.
